However out of the many mods released for Fallout 4, we’re just feeling more love for the Star Wars-themed mods that fans have been pumping out even before the release of The Force Awakens. This must be what unconditional love feels like. You frustrate us at times, but we also love you so much. Of course, every gamer worth his trigger finger knows that a great game can only attain legendary status once someone begins to create mods for it.Īnd Fallout 4, like every great game that came before and after it, is no different: fans and players are still releasing mods for it as it approaches quite a few years of existence.Īnd the more obvious point is that the community looks like it doesn’t even want to stop providing updates for it! It is suspenseful, it's glorious, and it is 100 percent totally unnecessary.And surprisingly enough, its version of a post-nuclear world remains relevant, too. Wait for the dramatic camera pan and you'll hear that deep Perlman voice narrate your untimely demise. The Ron Perlman Fallout 4 mod alters the death music in the game. He also does an official voice in Fallout 4 with the War Never Changes quest, but his dulceat tones deserve more screen time. Perlman narrated Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout Tactics, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 4's trailers with that iconic "War, war never changes" line. Every time I find myself booting up Fallout 4 (mostly because my character looks like Dorian Pavus from Dragon Age), this is always the first mod I make sure to toggle on.
For those that are still on the fence about how they feel about the latest entry into the single-player branch of Fallout, maybe Ron Perlman's husky tones will be enough to persuade you.įor this week's Mod Corner, we're throwing it back to an older mod that I can't seem to quit no matter how hard I try.
Fallout 4 wasn't a hit with everyone, but this game gave us Piper and Nick Valentine, so we're thankful.
